Creating Beautiful Spaces
This client wanted their master suite to reflect their love of the beach and a recent trip to Aruba. They desired a relaxed yet elegant feel to the space and wanted it to be a soothing respite. We choose a mixture of cool and warm colors and a variety of texture and pattern for the fabrics. The master bath is a play on light and texture with reflective glass shower tiles, textured shower doors, slate flooring and a woven textured rug.
This client had already chosen paint colors in neutral shades of green and caramel. Our challenge was to infuse some color, texture and pattern into the space to meld with the clients existing furniture and awkward angles in the room. We achieved this by adding accents and a rug with pops of color and pattern. The flat screen TV can be hidden away in the custom designed lift cabinet.
This materials board reflects the vibrant and contemporary style of this client who wanted their loft renovated to showcase their love of art and their desire to entertain family and friends. The loft has an open floor plan with a private mastersuite. The couple had slightly different tastes so to compromise we choose to design an eclectic modern loft mixing furniture styles and fabrics.
These drawings reflect the homeowner's desire to have designated areas within the loft's space plan. In the mastersuite we designed a half wall to center the bed on. The wall has an oval cut out that allows light to filter through from the very large windows yet it adds privacy. In addition, the wall separates the sleeping area from the sitting area behind the wall. Built in shelves frame out the windows to create a strong focal point for the sitting area.
